fall style - 90s icons

Fall always feels like the perfect time for a rebrand. There's something about the days getting shorter and temperatures getting cooler that transform all stylistic opinions. While trends are ever evolving, some classic pieces always stay timeless.
Quality over quantity.
Quiet over loud.
Here are some fall style icons that I always love to take inspiration from. Some dupes have been linked to match some of their best looks.

Carolyn Besette-Kennedy

The epitome of the 90s it girl. Carolyn's style was neutral, sleek and sophisticated. I love looking at her outfits on Pinterest. They way she pieced things together comes off so effortless, I'm obsessed. I think she's our OG quiet luxury icon.

Dupes:

Fran Drescher

Fran Drescher in The Nanny was the perfect blend of whimsical and elegant. Growing up, we wished we had a nanny who would save the day all while wearing a structured blazer. Kudos to Fran for playing with different shapes & pattern - she made it oh so fun.

Lady Diana

Lady Di's 90s style was the perfect balance of sporty and chic. Whether in a sweatshirt or a gown, she nailed them all. I feel like the 90s was her decade where she honoured her personal style best. She looks confident and comfortable - we're still trying to mimic her in current day.

Dupes:

90s Boy Club: Woody, Michael & Brad

The boys pioneered the decade too. Loose fits and unpretentious vibes. Here are some of my fave male looks that would duplicate so well in women's fashion. Canadian tuxedos, leather jackets and corduroy tops - yes please.
