2025 bridal trend forecast

I probably am biased because 2025 is the year I am getting married myself, but it feels as if we are on the brink of absolute elegance and chicness for bridal trends this year. As a traditionalist in style, this just makes me so happy. I sometimes feel like old world glamour has been lost in the era of fast fashion and TikTok trends.
I want to break out the fancy glassware, use silver dishes and wear my Sunday best - and I love how weddings give us the permission we forgot we had to do that.
So bring on the extravagance, it's time to indulge. Here is what I am forecasting to be some bridal trends for 2025:
Gloves & Long Sleeves: There's something so romantic about the addition of gloves or wearing long sleeves as a part of your bridal look. It has a flare of nostalgia, giving a sense of timeless elegance.
Satin: Whether a dress or as a decorative accent, satin just radiates glamour and photographs so well.
Silverware: Time to start polishing some family heirlooms - silver is so back. If you're hosting a bridesmaids dinner or bridal shower, using your vintage silverware to serve is a sophisticated generational homage.
♥︎ Vintage Tiffany & Co Silverware
Jazz Bar Cocktail Hour: Transport your guests to a distant time of grandeur during your cocktail hour with a jazz bar playlist. You can even go for the real deal with a live band.
Wedding Pillows: Everything is in the details and couples are more in tune to that than ever. Adding some pillows to your bridal suite or bedroom with your new honorific just encapsulates the special moment.
Antique Styled Glassware: While simpler glassware always has a place, ornate and antique styled glassware is so welcome when celebrating something special.
♥︎ Nachtmann Noblesse Coupe Glasses
Embroidered Gifts: Showing your appreciation to your bridal party is a class act. Treat them to something embroidered, it exudes luxe.
♥︎ 'Maid of Honor' Heritage Crew
Custom Matches: Definitely a must as a commemoration of the occasion. There's something so wonderfully archaic about matches.
Bachelor & Bachelorette Group Hats: Group hats at a Bachelor or Bachelorette party are a small added detail that add unity while elevating the celebration.
♥︎ 'Marriage Material' Dad Hat
Embellished Buckle Heels: The embellished buckle heel is that extra *umph* that can pull a look together. It's classy, feminine and the right amount of loud.
I definitely will be incorporating these trends into my wedding planning this year, keep you posted.
